The London Metal Exchange (LME) has launched a digital credential register – LMEpassport for the disclosure of sustainability credentials of LME-listed brands.

Thaisarco is one of the nine producer’s that have listed disclosures under the LME’s sustainability taxonomy, which covers all aspects of the sustainability including environmental, social, and governance spheres to reflect transparency in the way they operate.

Thaisarco operates the AMC Group’s tin smelter and refinery, located in Phuket, Thailand. The company is recognised worldwide as an industry leader in the manufacture of conflict-free tin, producing its LME registered Thaisarco and Phuket brands of tin, along with specialty tin alloys and other tin-related products including solders, powders, special shapes and high purity grades.

Andrew Davies, Thaisarco’s Managing Director states: “We are extremely pleased to participate in the LME Passport program, continuing to improve ESG and transparency in the metals industry.”
